Caitlin Riegel
Power Skating Clinician
Caitlin Riegel has been a SafeSport certified figure skating coach with the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA) for over 15 years. With an extensive background in on-ice development in the hockey community, Caitlin works with individuals, small groups, and numerous teams as a Power Skating Clinician. Caitlin’s unique blend of expertise in figure skating, combined with her academic background in education and leadership, provides her with a unique skill set to push players in their skating abilities. She emphasizes teaching through detailed feedback, providing drill explanations for carryover and game application. As the game of hockey evolves, Caitlin continues to develop innovative drills that align with advanced techniques in speed, acceleration, body and edge angles, and knee bend. Her focus on building a solid foundation in edgework, along with her encouragement and positive attitude, fosters confidence both on and off the ice. Outside the rink, Caitlin is a professor at Daemen University.
